I offer a broad range of coaching, training or group practice options, detailed below, to ensure all individuals interested in either starting or deepening a mindfulness practice can find the support that suits them best.

Introduction to Mindfulness workshop

With so much hype around mindfulness in the press it's easy to be skeptical or confused about what it actually entails in real life, how it works and whether it is something of genuine benefit for you in your life.


This short and informal workshop aims to answer these questions and provide a 'taster' of mindfulness practice at the same time. Group sizes are kept small and sessions are hosted in cosy spaces to help participants feel more at ease while we bust the myths and get into the details.

Investment: £15pp (2 hour workshop)


Mindful Walks

Walking mindfully is a great way to start to weave mindfulness practice into everyday life because we already walk every day - even if its just from one room to another!


I host regular local walks (Tunbridge Wells area) where participants can learn how to bring presence and awareness into each step.


Walks tend to last an hour and after settling in as a group we drop into silence for a short period of time to help us heighten our senses and deepen our presence power!


Each walk ends with an easy and gentle Qi Gong based mindful movment practice before we go our seperate ways.

3 - 8 Week Courses

For those looking for ways to start or deepen a more regular mindfulness practice I offer courses ranging from 3 to 8 weeks duration.

Courses include:

 

'Mindful living for women in midlife' - exploring the challenges & opportunities at this stage of life and how mindfulness practice may support us during this phase.


'Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction' (MBSR) & 'Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy' (MBCT ) - both known as the 'gold standard' of mindfulness courses that feed much of the research into the potential benefits of mindfulness practice

121 Wellness Coaching

As a fully certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) therpeutic coach I am also able to offer broader individual wellness coaching sessions that draw from the field of mindfulness alongside other positive psychological interventions.


I understand that 121 coaching can seem daunting for many people in need of support and so I offer the option of 'walk and talk' sessions as well as more traditional indoor private meetings for those wishing to get the aditional benefit of movement, nature and fresh air alongside the conversation.


Whatever challenges you face, or wellbeing aspirations you have, I can tailor the support to suit you.

Investment: sessions start at £50 for 50 mins but may vary depending on location

Mindfulness at work

Following the COVID pandemic stress levels at work peaked and mental health absences in the UK are now estimated to cost businesses £8.4 billion annually.


Providing teams and individuals in the workplace with tailored mindfulness training can help significantly reduce individual stress as well as foster a more supportive culture based on employee wellbeing.


In addition to the individual benefits of mindfulness training research indicates significant improvements in both productivity (without the burn out) and employee retention within businesses that cultivate a more mindful workplace.

Practice groups

As we try to build the habit of mindfulness into our busy lives it doesn't take long before we face challenges or doubts that show us just how difficult it is to do alone. This is why the Buddha himself called the 'sangha' (or community) a 'jewel' in Buddhist philosophy and an essential pillar to sustaining a mindful way of life.


Over the last 9 years of developing my own practice I have experienced how supportive it is to hang out regularly with other mindfulness seekers! With this in mind I set up, and facilitate, the 'Being Well Sangha' (based in central Tunbridge Wells) which meets every other Monday evening from 7-8.30pm.


Each session explores mindfulness practices and teachings originating from the Plum Village, Zen Buddhist tradition of mindfulness established by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. It's an informal and inclusive group that welcomes complete beginners alongside seasoned practitioners and everything in between. What's more, although using Buddhist teachings for discussion you do not need to be Buddhist to come along!
